2013 has meant new adventures for EDITION! I have started working with a small factory in Melbourne who is certified by Australia Ethical Clothing. This process has been a huge learning experience for both myself and the people I am working with at the factory. As my zero waste pattern making means that my patterns are very different to the traditional patterns it has been a back and forth process to get the garments right. The final outcome has been great and I should receive them on Tuesday after the Easter weekend. It has been great to get a small run made that I do not have to sew myself. Model Annalise Seubert will be wearing my new pieces at a launch for FASHFEST on Thursday!

At the moment I am finalising my collection for the FASHFEST parade on May 3rd. The collection is based around the buildings at the Old Yarralumla Brickworks. I took this photograph when I was at the Brickworks recently - it is such an amazing place. Ill post some photos of me in toiles shortly!
So much excitement in Sydney!!! My model and I after EDITION won the Debut award! This means that I will be showing my collection 'Until we Arrive' at Premiere next month that is part of Fashion Week Sydney. My studio buddies the wonderful Gemma and Francesca of the label 4 minutes 33, will also be at Premiere! We are hoping that it will be a fantastic week with lots of orders and inspiring people to meet. Another part of the Debut award is for EDITION to venture to Melbourne for a lookbook shot - can't wait!
All set up and ready to go for Fashion Exposed tomorrow. Fingers crossed Edition wins the competition and gets some quality stockists!
I did a shoot today with Rohan Thomson for an article in the Canberra Times, look out for it this Sunday! My model Alice Anderson was perfect! She is stunning and understands the garments.
